After missing a few Amerton Railway Steam and Diesel Galas lately I finally got back for their 2018 Summer Steam Gala. I can tell you it certainly was good. Hunslet Sybil Mary, Hudswell Clark GP39, Kerr Stuart Diana and Kerr Stuart Lorna Doone provided non-stop Freight Train and Passenger Train action all day.
There was also the opportunity to take a Shed Tour and view the Waterhouses Signal Box.
There was also Road Steam and Live Steam models on show.
Hopefully if you couldn't make it along to the Gala in person this video will give you an idea what went on over the day.
