I spent a very pleasant day at The Heaton Park Tramway for the Blackpool Rocks Manchester event on 9th August 2015. The event celebrated Manchester's love of Blackpool as their favourite seaside resort.
The Heaton Park Tramway's Blackpool Trams were in service, with buses linking Heaton Park with the Manchester Museum of Transport and Victoria Station. There was also the X60 linking the park with The East Lancs Railway giving the visitor the chance to experience the Trams, Trains and Buses of that period.
There was also the opportunity for the kids to enjoy all the fun of the seaside beach and a Donkey ride, and of course the FunFare.
Many Thanks to all involved for a well organised and very enjoyable event.
