A Bouquet of Steam
The Kirklees Light Railway held their sixth annual Gala weekend entitled ' A Bouquet of Steam' on the 10th and 11th September 2011.
The celebration of festival and exhibition locomotives featured visitors Cagney No.44 from the Rhyl miniature Railway,Peruvian Cagney and RH&DR No.11 Black Prince from The Romney,Hythe and Dymchurch Railway in service alongside resident locomotives Badger, Fox, Hawk, Owl, Jay and not forgetting Scooter and Red Gauntlet doing their thing at Shelley.
A fantastic well attended event that delighted all, Many thanks to all involved. Can't wait for next year.
