The Chasewater Railway Spring Gala 2012
The Chasewater Railway held their Spring Gala on the 17th and 18th March 2012. An intensive timetable was in operation with Freight trains with brake van rides, Coal trains and of course passenger trains. Not forgetting the narrow Gauge railway.
The Gala was just about as perfect as you can get with plenty of action at Brownhills West with frequent shunting movements along with arrivals and departures. The train crews and the platform staff at all the stations must be about the friendliest I have come across A true family atmosphere.
Everyone involved should be very proud of themselves for organising such an excellent event. Many thanks.
