The West Lancashire Light Railway Diesel Freight Day.
The West Lancashire Light Railway held their Diesel Freight Day on the 25th June 2011.
I can't praise the guys at WLLR enough for the amount of effort they put in and the sheer number of demonstration freight train movements they managed to make.
The weather could have been better but it didn't manage to dampen their enthusiasm in the slightest. There was plenty of action and the friendly volunteers made it a great day. As always, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to West Lancashire Light Railway.
