Ellenroad Engine House is home of Victoria and Alexandra, The worlds largest working steam mill engines. Today The MAD Theatre Company were also there to commemorate the start of World War 1.
It was very well presented through Poetry, Letters from soldiers on the front line, Extracts from the Rochdale Observer and song, and certainly made you think of the impact this day had on ordinary folk.
