For many years the GVVT West End Festival has been on my 'Go to ' list but for one reason or another I never got there. On the 30th June 2019 I finally made it there and what a cracking event it was too.
An excellent variety of buses operated a clockwise and anticlockwise circular service using all bus stops between Riverside Museum, The Botanic Gardens, Anniesland Cross and Crow Road which gave a great sense of ' The good old days'. Just watching these buses pulling into bus stops brought memories flooding back.
There is a number of buses missing from this collection as the memory card decided to go and die on me and I lost quite a few photos. It could have been a whole lot worse if I hadn't noticed.
Sincere Thanks to Steven Booth and everyone at the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust for all the hard work you all put in making this an thoroughly enjoyable event and for making me feel so welcome.
