The Merseyside Transport Trust held their Open Day at Burscough on 13th July 2014. A large collection of buses in various stages of restoration were on static display inside the MTT premises and just a little bit down the road at the car park there was a variety of buses to delight any transport enthusiast.
Buses also operated an intensive timetable to Ormskirk and Burscough and the Real Ale circular connected some local Real Ale pubs ( Thirsty work being a bus enthusiast ). There was also a couple of Mystery destinations thrown into the timetable.
This was my first visit to Merseyside Transport Trust and I must say I was very impressed.
Many thanks to everyone at The MTT for all the hard work you put in for producing such a well organised and enjoyable event.
