Stapleford Miniature Railway
I spent the day in the company of The Friends of the Stapleford Miniature Railway for their Steam and Real Ale Festival. A lot of people took the opportunity to ride behind beautiful Locomotives 2943 'Hampton Court ', 6019 'Niagara ', Warship ' The White Heron ' and last but not least 751 'John H Gretton'.
Although it was rather windy it was a lovely sunny day and many visitors took the chance to view the Traction Engines and listen to the Fairground Organs whilst sampling the Real Ale in the Beer tent.
I'm sure that everyone who attended the Festival would agree with me that it was a Great Event.
I will certainly return as soon as possible.
Thank you very much to everyone at The Stapleford Miniature Railway for making me feel very welcome.
