I went along to Heaton Park for the TransLancs Transport Show on 4th September 2016. This is an Annual event and offers something for every taste as it features a wide variety of beautiful classic vehicles along with some very modern vehicles.
Buses, Commercial vehicles, Miltary vehicles and cars were all on show,
I can only imagine the amount of hard work you guys put in to get these vehicles to such a high standard.
If you didnt manage to get to the event. I hope these photos give you some idea what the event is like.
The Heaton Park Tramway was also operating a frequent service from Lakeside to the Middleton Road Park Gates where you could catch the Free classic bus service to the Manchester Museum of Transport.
As if all of this was not enough there was a funfare and beach for the kids. ( I gave that a miss )
Meeting and having a chat with friends, nice weather and surrounded by classic vehicles.
A perfect day.
Many thanks to all the owners/drivers for giving us the opportunity to see your vehicles and to everyone involved with organising yet another great event.
