The Amerton Railway
The Amerton Railway is located on the A518 near Stafford. Its a 2 foot gauge line and is 1 mile in length. Your journey will be behind a lovingly restored engine such as Isabel, Paddy or Jennie. The Railway is totally run by volunteers. Their hard work and dedication has resulted in a wonderful little Railway that is enjoyed by lot of people.
It is also a great attraction for kids of all ages. not only can they see,hear and smell real steam trains in action they can also go to the neighbouring Amerton Farm where they can get up close to all sorts of animals.
It is highly recommended and is well worth a visit.
