The Chasewater Railway
The Chasewater Railway, located in Chasewater Country Park operate most Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays throughout the year.The Colliery line is approximately two miles in length and Prior to preservation it was part of the N C B network.
Trains run from Brownhills West Station to Chasetown Church Street via Norton Lakeside and Chasewater Heaths stations. The Railway offers a superb day out, and has a great family atmosphere. Day Rover tickets with unlimited travel on the trains are excellent value for money.On my visits I found everyone connected with the Railway to be very friendly and enthusiastic about what they were doing.
Bottom line is, Its a fantastic Railway set in a real Photogenic area, Nice friendly people. What more could you ask for ?
